I don't draw as much as I should. No, I'd really like to but I'm in the midst of a multi-year art block. At this point, I don't know if it'll ever end.

I found this while looking up links related to Ancient Roman clothing and thought it was really neat.  In Hippolytus' time (170-235 AD), zodiac signs were associated with physical appearance as well as personality.  It's also interesting to note that Hippolytus was a Christian theologian. Aries Those who are born under Aries will be of the following kind: long head, red hair, contracted eyebrows, pointed forehead, eyes grey and lively, drawn cheeks, long-nosed, expanded nostrils, thin lips, tapering chin, wide mouth.  These, he says, will partake of the following nature: cautious, subtle, perspicuous, prudent, indulgent, gentle, over-anxiou

Fun fact: A part of me dies a little whenever I see someone dressed up as a Halloween flapper. This ^ resembles how women dressed in the 20's only in the most remote ways.  Some dresses had crazy fringe on them, but they were rare.  One of the only examples that come to mind right now is this 1926 Chanel evening dress from the Kent State Museum.  Is this the origin of the fringe monster with the fishnet tights? So I don't actually know who the subway twins are because I don't keep up with the Pokemens but they appear to be somehow related to Elya...or at least taking hairstyle tips from him. You know, it's ridiculous that I come here multiple times a day and yet I've got nothing to show for it.  I haven't drawn anything satisfactory in about a year.  I was never a da Vinci, but I'd like to at least be able to draw like I did before this whole mess with the car wreck started, or even just like I did a year ago. _______________ Profiles: http://arrowhead909.deviantart.com/journal/30208426/ Tumblr: 23 Skidoo!
